Goodbye Anna!
I am sad and happy at the same time as we say farewell to Anna. So sad she is leaving us and excited she will still be working and playing with us as the new Marketing Coordinator at MBA Engineers.
Anna had to learn quick about architects. Architects wait until the last minute to RSVP for any events. Architects always have a solution if you wait long enough. Architects have so many ideas, it is impossible to do all of them. Architects view everything so differently. Architects – You helped Anna grow professionally and view design in a different way. Anna watched, listened, and took it all in and found her lane to make AIA Birmingham better and more efficient. She brought new ideas to Design Awards, Posters, Pies & Pints, and dreamARCHITECTURE by adding her special flair to the events ultimately making them more successful and memorable for everyone involved.
We all shared some good times with Anna at chapter meetings, golf tournaments, Fright Night, site visits, even committee meetings, and holiday parties. She will always be a part of the AIA Birmingham family. Anna has made us all look good, and we cannot wait to see what MBA has in store for her! And who knows, perhaps her experience with architects will continue to shape her perspective and approach in her new position. Let’s congratulate Anna on all her hard work and wish her luck in all her next chapter.
Cheers to YOU, Anna Grace Ortiz (Crumpton on 2/24/24)!!!!
