We are the largest chapter in Alabama with 51 percent of the state’s architects. Our members come from different backgrounds, have different specialties and work on different types of projects. We have residential architects, commercial architects and institutional architects. We have solo practitioners, contract architects and large firms with more than 50 people. Each one of our members brings something special to the practice of architecture, not only in Birmingham, but also throughout Alabama, the Southern region and nationwide.
