Tomorrow’s offices need to attract, nurture, enable, and retain the talent that will drive innovation and bring an organization’s strategy to life. In this new landscape of work, a human-centered approach is essential. This course will share outcomes from global research that begin with a fundamental understanding of the activities that people engage in when they work. We’ll then look at how these activities can be supported with an optimal arrangement of settings that contain the right mix of surroundings, tools, and furnishings. The approach is descriptive rather than prescriptive. Attendees will be able to link research insights with design strategies to provide solutions that answer the unique needs of each organization and its people.
