AIA Birmingham Emerging Professionals present “The Power of Y+ALL: Creating Communities through Collaboration.” (1LU)

A Design Lecture for ALL with John Hudson, founder and architect.

100 Fold Studio is a nonprofit architecture firm providing affordable and innovative design services to charitable organizations around the world. John Hudson is a founding member of 100 Fold Studio. He is an award-winning architect and non-profit pioneer. His passion is to train the next generation of architects to create places that are safe, efficient and inspiring in developing nations. John has spoken at TEDx Whitefish, Montana; the USGBC Montana Summit at Big Sky, Montana; and The Gathering in Dallas, Texas. He has also presented at various architecture schools including Cal Poly, Judson University and Montana State. 100 Fold Studio is a 501(c)(3) architecture firm located in Lakeside, Montana.

The nonprofit is a collaborative studio transforming lives through architecture. International projects include campuses in Bangladesh, Cambodia, and Nepal. U.S. work includes a performance space for a Native American community in Polson, MT and a concert pavilion for charitable events in Lakeside, MT. John is a native of Birmingham, AL, and graduated with an M.A. from the Univ. of Virginia in 1997. John served as Chair of USGBC Alabama – Birmingham Chapter in 2010. John loves living in Montana, but still has barbecue sauce imported regularly from Alabama.
