SUMMARY:Mercedes Logistics Facility Site Visit
DESCRIPTION:Joint site visit with SEA\, ASCE & AGC-Mercedes Logistics Facility-Vance\, AL. 4:30-5:30. \nBL Harbert (GC)\, CCI (Civil) and Tucker Jones (Structural) will be onsite to discuss the project which includes concrete exterior walls\, steel framing\, one million square feet of concrete paving. The timeline for the facility construction is approximately 8 months and it will be LEED certified. The attached flier provides additional information regarding the project.  \nDirections to job site from Birmingham: \nTake I-20/59 West towards Tuscaloosa \nTake Exit #89 Mercedes Drive \nTurn Left at the end of the ramp toward US-11\, continue 1.5 miles (driving past the plant on your right) \nTurn Right onto US-11/AL-7 \nTurn Right into BL Harbert construction entrance \nContinue straight to jobsite office
