The rapid and easy spread of this virus has created a substantial amount of interest in the germicidal properties of ultra violet and the possibility of using this spectrum to disinfect various applications. This presentation will cover the three types of ultra violet and levels of germicidal properties and capabilities. The history of the use of various lamp sources which can deliver UV will be explored as well as the risks associated with the various types.
