DESCRIPTION:“LESSONS FROM A LEADER” LARRY ARGO\nBREAKFAST MEETING\nAlabama AGC Building – Conference Room\nThursday\, August 20\, 2015\n7 am – 8 am\n\nBuilding a company takes hard work.  Building a successful company recognized and respected by its peers and customers requires even harder work.  In 1971\, Larry Argo began his career in the construction industry working as an apprentice electrician.  While progressing through and graduating from the apprenticeship program\, Larry learned about the trade and the industry.  In 1987\, Larry Argo with two partners founded Marathon Electrical Contractors\, Inc.  Since that time\, Marathon Electrical Contractors has grown from a local company with just over 20 employees to more than 400 employees working regionally\, nationally\, and internationally.  Under Larry’s leadership\, Marathon Electrical Contractors has consistently ranked among the Top 600 Specialty Contractors by Engineering News Record\, and has been recognized with numerous awards for its work.  Throughout his career\, Larry Argo has been extremely active within the construction industry serving in a number of leadership roles for several trade associations.  Come spend an hour with us as Larry Argo shares words of wisdom and stories of the past as the YCF conducts its third installment of Lessons from a Leader.  Join us for an experience we can all learn from – Invite a guest as well! \n  \nTo attend\, please RSVP by Tuesday\, August 18 to Jennifer Chesnut via fax (451-1499) or email (jenniferc@alagc.org). \nCost – Free for YCF Members & Guests / $15 Non-Members
