He previously served as Director of City Development for Montgomery\, Alabama as well as a consultant to over 30 different cities on downtown and urban redevelopment strategies. He received his undergraduate degree from Lipscomb University and his law degree from the University of Tennessee. He\, his wife\, and five children live in Huntsville.

DESCRIPTION:Please join the City of Birmingham\, Regional Planning Commission of Greater Birmingham\, and Town Planning & Urban Design Collaborative as we embark on assessing building form in zoning on Thursday\, July 23rd at 6:00pm at the Birmingham Museum of Art. This will be the kick-off workshop for what we are calling Birmingham Livability Code. Birmingham Livability Code will focus on building a Form Based Code that maybe applied (after public hearings) in certain areas of the City as outlined in the Comprehensive Plan. Please see the attached poster outlining the details of the meeting.
